The Urology Department of Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC), MTI Swabi provides comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical care for diseases of the urinary system in both men and women and the male reproductive system.

The department provides services for a wide range of adult and pediatric urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney and urinary stones, prostate and bladder disorders, urinary obstruction, male reproductive conditions, and urological cancers.

Our team of qualified and experienced urologists works in collaboration with other clinical specialties to provide timely, safe, and patient-centered urological care.

Urological Services

General Urology

• Diagnosis and treatment of Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)

• Assessment and management of urinary problems

• Treatment of bladder disorders

• Management of urinary obstruction and urinary retention

• Urinary incontinence assessment and treatment

• Prostate-related conditions and disorders

• Management of male reproductive and sexual health conditions

Kidney & Urinary Stones

• Diagnosis and management of kidney and ureteric stones

• Medical management of urinary stones

• Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) for appropriately selected patients

• Endoscopic stone management and other surgical options where indicated

• Follow-up and prevention advice for recurrent stone disease

Endourology

The department provides minimally invasive endourological procedures for selected urinary tract conditions, including the management of kidney, ureteric, bladder, and urethral disorders and urinary stones.

Urological Oncology

The department provides assessment and management of suspected and confirmed urological cancers, including conditions involving the prostate, kidney, bladder, and other parts of the urinary system, with appropriate multidisciplinary coordination.

Pediatric Urology

Where available, the department also provides assessment and management of selected pediatric urological conditions, with referral or multidisciplinary support for complex cases.
