During the meeting, Additional Hospital Director (AHD) Dr. Hamid Khan briefed HD and Director ER about healthcare provisions and highlighted issues related to electricity, security, the Fair Price Pharmacy, the Thalassemia Center, and human resources. The Hospital Director toured various departments, including OPD, ER, Laboratory, Pharmacy Store, and Thalassemia Center. He interacted with patients and inquired about the health facilities provided at THQ Chota Lahor.

AHD Dr. Hamid provided complete details about surgeries, as well as patient flows in the OPD and ER. He mentioned that the hospital has performed more than 50 laparoscopic cholecystectomies so far with the existing resources. AHD added that the Nutrition Program from the World Food Program is running successfully at THQ. The Hospital Director of BKMC emphasized that these programs need to be sustainable in the future to continue facilitating the public.

The administration requested the Hospital Director to address urgent human resource requirements and electricity issues. He issued a directive to the facility supervisor to arrange for a backup generator as soon as possible.

The Hospital Director also met with faculty staff, appreciating their work despite limited resources, and assured them that efforts would be made to provide a better working environment for smooth operations. He confirmed that human resource deficiencies and staff rationalization would be addressed soon.

The Hospital Director met with the Paramedics Supervisor, Nursing Supervisor, and Class-4 Supervisor, acknowledging their dedication to work. He also directed the Facility Supervisor to conduct a clean and green campaign for two or three days, similar to the one in THQ Topi.
