The Neonatology Department at Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC) MTI Swabi provides specialized care for newborns, particularly those who are premature, low birth weight, or have critical health conditions at birth. Staffed by trained neonatologists and pediatric nurses, the department ensures comprehensive monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment of neonatal health issues, using evidence-based clinical protocols in a supportive and family-centered environment.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at BKMC is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced incubators, ventilators, and monitoring systems to manage high-risk and critically ill newborns. With a dedicated team available 24/7, the NICU offers round-the-clock intensive care and works closely with the obstetrics and pediatric units to ensure timely intervention and improved outcomes for neonates in the region.
