Swabi: The Department of Paediatrics and Neonatology, in collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, successfully organized a one-day workshop on Neonatal Resuscitation (NeoLis) at the Auditorium Hall of GKMC/BKMC-MTI, Swabi.

The workshop was facilitated by HoD Pediatrics, Prof. Dr. Sajjad-Ur-Rehman, AP, Paeds Dr. Haji Gul Afridi, and AP. Neonatologist, Dr. Inayat Ullah.

Participants included faculty members, residents from Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as staff from the Labour Room and Operating Room.

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ skills and knowledge in neonatal resuscitation, promoting better newborn outcomes. It featured in-depth sessions, hands-on practice, didactic lectures, and pre-and post-test evaluations.

Participants praised the interactive and informative approach, and the organizing departments reaffirmed their commitment to continuous medical education and quality training.
