Swabi: To strengthen Institutional-Based Private Practice (IBPP), a meeting was held in the college conference room on March 21, 2025. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman IBP and Medical Director, Dr. Shahid Nisar Khalid, and attended by the Dean/CEO, Hospital Director, Associate Medical Director, Manager Internal Audit, IBPP Consultants, and Manager IBPP.

The chair welcomed the consultants who recently joined IBP and expressed his gratitude. He emphasized the importance of providing high-quality healthcare services to patients in the evening hours, ensuring accessibility and excellence in patient care.

During the meeting, it was decided to form an IBPP Committee, chaired by the Chairman IBP, with the Manager IBP and selected consultant representatives as members. Additionally, an SSP Committee for IBPP will be established to address consultants’ concerns related to SSP.

The chair directed the relevant departments to facilitate newly inducted consultants in terms of accommodation. The chair emphasized that outside private practice will not be permitted, and strict action will be taken against those found violating this directive.

Furthermore, the chair instructed the Media Officer to initiate a comprehensive IBPP awareness campaign, including advertisements in print and social media, as well as the placement of banners in key areas of Swabi to inform the public.

Consultants provided valuable suggestions for strengthening IBP, which were endorsed by the chair.
