Swabi: A delegation from Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar, led by Chief Controller Prof. Dr. Muhammad Salim Gandapur along with Director IT, Director Finance and Director Academics, visited Gajju Khan Medical College (GKMC-MTI). The purpose of the visit was to explore the establishment of a computer center for conducting online exams for MBBS and Allied Health Sciences programs in the coming year.
Dean/CEO Prof. Dr. Shams-Ur-Rehman, along with Associate Dean under graduate and Associated Dean postgraduate, warmly welcomed the delegation and provided a comprehensive overview of the college.
During the visit, the delegation visited various departments to assess space and infrastructure. They expressed satisfaction with the college’s administration, management, and faculty. The delegation also had meetings with the college’s focal persons.
KMU is planning to establish a center equipped with 100 to 150 computers as a joint venture to facilitate online examinations for students of GKMC and Allied medical sciences, including nursing sciences. The delegation will provide their feedback in the coming days.
The dean urged the delegation to allocate the necessary financial and other resources for the establishment of the center.
