To acknowledge nurses’ hard work and dedication toward a noble cause, International Nurses Day was celebrated at Bacha Khan Medical Complex-MTI, Swabi. A cake-cutting ceremony was held in the auditorium, where the Nursing Director, Nursing Manager, and nurses from BKMC participated enthusiastically.

Medical Director Dr. Shahid Nisar Khalid, Associate Dean, Director Finance, and Acting Hospital Director attended the event and highlighted the vital role of nurses in healthcare.

Nursing Director Mr. Mehran Khan congratulated all the nurses and appreciated their tireless efforts in providing quality patient care. He stated that nurses are the backbone of every healthcare institution, playing a pivotal role in building a healthier society.

International Nurses Day is observed globally on May 12 each year. The theme for 2025 is “Our Nurses. Our Future. Caring for nurses strengthens economies.” This theme underscores the importance of supporting nurses’ health and well-being, as their empowerment leads to stronger health systems and sustainable development.
