Swabi: The hospital director, Dr. Khalid Masud, along with the Director ER, Dr. Razik Shah, visited the Club Foot Clinic established at Chal Foundation BKMC-MTI, Swabi.

Associate Prof. Orthopedics and Coordinator of the Club Foot Clinic, Dr. M. Saqib, welcomed the directors and briefed them about the services and facilities provided at the clinic.

Dr. Saqib shared that the clinic started in July 2024 with just 3 patients, and now has more than 20 registered patients. The clinic aims to help children with clubfoot lead a normal social life.

It is worth mentioning that this clinic is supported by the Paraplegic Center Peshawar in Hayatabad and Miracle Feet USA.

The hospital director assured the coordinator that the clinic would be expanded to accommodate and facilitate more patients. The Club Foot Clinic’s outpatient department (OPD) operates every Wednesday, where skilled staff, under the supervision of Dr. M. Saqib, provide the best possible care.

The hospital director also met with the parents of the children and inquired about the facility. The parents expressed satisfaction with the care provided at the clinic.
