Swabi: The Social Welfare Society (SWS) of Gajju Khan Medical (GKMC-MTI), Swabi organized the 4^th Annual Book Fair on March 11, 2025, intending to facilitate students by providing curricular and knowledge-enhancing books at their doorstep.

The book fair was inaugurated by Dean/CEO GKMC-MTI, Prof. Dr. Shams Ur Rahman, HD BKMC-MTI, Dr. Khalid Masud, Chairman Social Welfare Society, Prof. Dr. Asif Kamal, HoD Community Medicine, Dr. M. Sajjad. The event attracted a significant number of students, faculty members, and book enthusiasts, creating an engaging and intellectually stimulating atmosphere.

A variety of stalls were set up, offering a diverse range of books on different subjects, all available at discounted rates. Students from GKMC-MTI enthusiastically explored the fair, making the most of this opportunity to expand their knowledge.

The Dean, HD, and Chairman SWS, accompanied by faculty members, visited the stalls set up by students. They commended the Social Welfare Society for its initiative and lauded the students’ efforts in organizing the event. The Dean reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to supporting such academic and intellectual activities throughout students’ educational journeys.

The Hospital Director also appreciated the students’ active participation and emphasized the importance of research, showing keen interest in the books and other stalls. He particularly praised the well-organized setup and the students’ dedication to promoting learning.

After the successful and well-organized book fair, Dean/HD and Chairman SWS awarded appreciation certificates to students in recognition of their hard work and commitment to making the event a success.
