Our Governance Approach
At MTI BKMC and Allied Hospitals Swabi, nursing governance is an integral part of our organisational structure, ensuring that clinical nurses and nursing leadership contribute actively to decision-making at all levels.
As the Nursing Director, I am part of key institutional bodies, including the Management Committee, Clinical Executive Board, Hospital Executive Committee, where I present strategic updates on nursing services, workforce development, and patient care outcomes. Nursing leadership is also actively involved in major decision-making platforms, contributing to policy development and operational strategies for quality improvement.
Our Clinical Nursing Managers participate in different forums such as Hospital Operations Committees, Quality Improvement Committees,ensuring that nursing perspectives shape clinical and administrative decisions.
Furthermore, nurses are represented on all key hospital committees, including Infection Control, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Blood Transfusion, Operating Room Management, ICU Oversight, and others. This inclusive governance structure strengthens collaborative practice and supports our commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
