To mark World Hand Hygiene Day 2025, the Department of Infectious Diseases at BKMC-MTI, Swabi, organized an awareness walk. The event aimed to highlight the importance of proper hand hygiene in preventing infections and promoting patient safety.

The awareness walk witnessed active participation from administrative staff, faculty, HoDs, doctors, nurses, and students.

World Hand Hygiene Day is observed annually on May 5, under the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO). This year’s theme is: “It might be gloves. It’s always hand hygiene.”
