MoU Signed Between Reginal Blood Center (RBC) Abbottabad and BKMC Swabi

Swabi:  A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Reginal Blood Center (RBC), Abbottabad, and Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC), Swabi, to enhance safe blood transfusion services.

The ceremony was held at the office of the Secretary BoG, attended by Dean/CEO, Hospital Director, Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, Director Finance. Dr. Shaukat Hussain, Manager RMC Abbottabad, led the RBC team.

Under this one-year MoU, RBC Abbottabad will provide safe, screened blood and its components free of cost to GKMC/BKMC-MTI, subject to availability. Both institutions will collaborate in organizing voluntary blood donation camps and hold monthly review meetings.

The management appreciated this initiative, calling it a vital step toward ensuring timely and safe blood transfusion services for Swabi and neighboring districts.

The RBC team also visited BKMC’s pathology lab and hematology section, where the Head of Departments briefed them on available facilities.
