The 9th Clinical Executive Board (CEB) meeting of BKMC-MTI, Swabi, was held on May 20, 2025, in the Hospital Committee Room under the chairmanship of Medical Director Dr. Shahid Nisar Khalid.

The Hospital Director, Acting Director Nursing, and all HoDs attended and shared their input on the agenda items.

The chair reviewed the clinical audit report, appreciated the efforts of the Clinical Audit Committee, and expressed satisfaction with their work. MD emphasized that this important practice must continue.

The chair further stressed that a Clinical Incident Report must be submitted in case of any mishap or adverse event. It was decided that students/trainees (observers) without proper supervision will no longer be allowed to handle patients.

Dr. Amjad Mahboob, Chairman Department of Medicine, proposed that each ward should have a dedicated dressing trolley, and a surgical technician should perform dressings daily at 10:00 AM to avoid unnecessary OT visits.

The chair appointed Dr. Adnan Ahmed, HoD Neurosurgery, as the new Chairman of the Mortality and Morbidity Committee.

File maintenance was also discussed in detail. It was decided that every supervisor will be responsible for maintaining files and patient data, including ward records.

The HoD Gynae proposed setting up a dedicated Labor Room OT for the morning shift to reduce the burden on the main OT. The chair approved the suggestion and directed the concerned teams to initiate the necessary work.
