22nd BOG MTI-GKMC/BKMC Meeting Held at Committee Room. 𝐁𝐨𝐆 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐢 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐈𝐁𝐏𝐏).

Swabi: The 22nd Board of Governors (BOG) meeting of MTI-GKMC/BKMC was held under the chairmanship of Major General (Rtd) Muhammad Salah-Uddin Qasim. The meeting was attended by BoG members and the management of GKMC/BKMC-MTI, Swabi.

Dean/CEO, Hospital Director, Medical Director, Director Finance, Nursing Director, AHDs of Allied Teaching Hospitals, and all Administrative Managers presented their progress reports on their respective departments.

Hospital Director briefed the board on hospital services and presented the agenda, which included the establishment of fair-price pharmacies in THQ Hospitals, IT infrastructure, and human resource requirements across various departments.

Nursing Director’s agenda included enhancing the internship program, recruiting more staff, and proposing a new building for Nigar College of Nursing.

Dean, Medical Director, Director Finance, and managers presented their agendas, leading to decisions for filling vacant positions and hiring new doctors and staff for smooth operations.

The Sehat Card Plus Program (SCPP) was thoroughly discussed, with the chair offering valuable suggestions for optimizing the program’s utilization.

The board underscored the vital role of the Emergency Department as the hospital’s primary asset, calling for its enhancement to ensure swift and effective patient care in line with established guidelines.

The chair also reinforced the mandatory Institutional Based Private Practice (IBPP) for consultants under the MTI Act and approved initiatives to strengthen IBPP, aiming to provide high-quality healthcare services during evening hours.
