Swabi: Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology of BKMC/GKMC-MTI organized and conducted a one-day workshop on “Non-invasive Ventilation in Newborns”. Guest speaker and facilitator of the workshop was Associate Prof: Dr. Arshad Khushdil Classified Child Specialist and Neonatologist CMH Quetta.

The workshop was attended by the Faculty and Residents of the Pediatrics Department. The workshop was also attended by Associate Dean Research MTI GKMC Dr. Sajjad, Senior District Pulmonologist Dr. Saeed Abid Afridi, and a Pediatrician from MTI THQ Lahor.

The facilitator briefed the audience regarding various modalities of Non-invasive Ventilation, its significance, and indications.

A practical demonstration was also given on assembling indigenous CPAP and its applications to Newborns.

At the end of the workshop, Dr. Sajjad Ur Rahman HoD Pediatrics and Ne onatology GKMC/BKMC-MTI Swabi appreciated the Guest Speaker Dr. Arshad Khushdil for arranging such an excellent workshop for our faculty and Residents.
