Swabi: The Two-Day ACT Basic Clubfoot Treatment Provider Course conducted by Miraclefeet and the Paraplegic Center Peshawar concluded at Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC-MTI), Swabi.

The purpose of this important course was to train doctors in basic clubfoot treatment. Five doctors from BKMC-MTI participated in the two-day training session: Dr. Shakirullah, Arooba, Abdullah, Abdulrahman, and Salman. This team will now work under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Saqib, the Clinical Coordinator of Clubfoot.

At the end of the session, the Chairman of the Paraplegic Center Peshawar, Dr. Ilyas Syed, and HD BKMC-MTI, Dr. Amjad Mahboob, presented the course completion certificates. Both Dr. Amjad Mahboob and Dr. Mohammad Ilyas commended the department’s efforts in conducting such valuable training.

It is worth mentioning that BKMC-MTI has recently started a Clubfoot clinic, with OPD sessions held every Wednesday. Now this Clubfoot team will provide free treatment to children with clubfoot issues.
