Swabi: A meeting regarding the newly established four Operation Rooms (ORs) was held under the chairmanship of the Medical Director. All the directors, including HD, DF ND, Manager Facilities, and Manager HR, attended the meeting.

The discussion focused on addressing the staff shortage for the new ORs. Initially, the Head of Anaesthesia will provide details on the human resource requirements, and the Manager Facilities will share the needs of environmental staff to ensure the smooth operation of the new ORs.

It was also noted that some necessary work remains incomplete, and the ORs have not yet been handed over to hospital administration. These points were discussed in detail, and decisions were made accordingly.

Nursing Director mentioned that the nursing staff shortage will soon be resolved, as the hiring process for new nurses is completed. The Hospital Director also suggested that the new OT established in the new ER could help reduce to reduce surgical burden.
