MC Meeting: Review progress / discusses administrative/clinical matters

Swabi: The Management Committee (MC) meeting was held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. CEO/Dean GKMC/BKMC-MTI Prof Dr. Shams-Ur-Rahman chaired the meeting held in the GKMC-MTI conference room. Progress on ongoing uplift projects was reviewed in the meeting while discussing other administrative and clinical matters to enhance the capacity and improve healthcare services in BKMC-MTI. The meeting reviewed progress on new Emergency construction and discussed arrangements for the inauguration of the newly constructed Emergency, Burn, and Trauma Center. It is decided that the new ER will be inaugurated on 22^nd April 2022. The committee approved the purchase of a 2nd C.T Scan for the hospital to facilitate more Patients. The committee decided that after the BOG approval construction of the House Officers hostel will be started. Hospital Director Dr. Amjad Mahboob, Medical Director Dr. Shahid Nisar Khalid, Nursing Director Mr. Mehran Khan, Director Finance Mr. Akhtar Zeb, and other heads of departments (HODs) attended the meeting. The meeting expressed satisfaction over the progress on the ongoing uplift schemes.
