Swabi: The 13th Hospital Executive Committee (HEC) Meeting was held under the chairmanship of the newly appointed Hospital Director, Dr. Khalid Masud. The meeting was attended by all Heads of Departments (HODs), Managers, Director Finance, Focal Person SSP, and Additional Hospital Director of allied teaching hospitals MTI-Topi and THQ Chota Lahor.

This was the first introductory meeting with the new Hospital Director.

Dr. Khalid Masud expressed appreciation for the efforts of the former Hospital Director. During the meeting, it was decided that a self-assessment of each department would be conducted every three months. The chair also emphasized the importance of supporting night shift Duty Managers (DMS) and In-Charges.

All HODs provided updates on their respective departments, highlighting issues such as shortages of human resources, equipment, and other concerns. Security concerns, CCTV camera installations, and OPD-related issues were thoroughly discussed.

The Hospital Director assured all HODs that staff and equipment shortages would be addressed soon. He also instructed the Media Officer to prepare annual progress reports, including updates from THQ Topi and THQ Chota Lahor.

Additionally, the Hospital Director directed the MIS Manager to conduct a detailed review of the Hospital Information Management System (HIMS).

The task was assigned to the QA team to submit a three-month report of each department.

Further discussions covered facility issues, CSSD concerns, OPD challenges, as well as issues related to Bio-Medical equipment and medical gas supplies. Decisions were made accordingly.

The chair clarified during the meeting that no compromises will be made on quality healthcare.
