BOG Chairman visits BKMC-MTI

Swabi: The chairman Board of Governors BKMC-MTI Maj General® Salahuddin Qasam made a comprehensive round of the hospital along with Dean GKMC-MTI Prof. Dr. Shams-Ur-Rahman, Hospital Director Dr. Amjad Mehboob, and Medical Director Dr. Shahid Nisar Khalid.   Hospital director Dr. Amjad Mahboob apprised the meeting about the progress made on various ongoing uplift renovation and up-gradation projects. He said that civil work on New Emergency and Operation Theater is almost completed, and the project would be completed on time.   BOG Chairman also review the construction work of the New Emergency, Burn, and Trauma Center and showed satisfaction over developmental work. The BOG expressed satisfaction over the pace of work on underdeveloped projects and stressed its timely completion. BOG chairman decided that the inauguration of the new ER and Burn Unit would be this.   In the meeting, the decision was taken to provide free insulin and test facilities to poor and needy patients from the “Zakat” fund and also decided to treat poor and needy thalassemia patients from the “Zakat” fund as well.   On the recommendation of the Medical Director, Dr. Shahid Nisar Khalid Chairman BOG approved the hiring of more women medical officer and medico-legal officer for smooth running and further strengthening health care and patient care in the hospital.
