SWABI: The Department of Medicine GKMC/BKMC-MTI, Swabi, organized a Clinicopathological Conference (CPC) titled “Mortality / Morbidity.” Dr. Amjad Mahboob, Chairman of the Department of Medicine, delivered an insightful presentation on Mortality and Morbidity.
The presentation on Mortality and Morbidity focused on the key factors influencing patient outcomes, such as diagnostic errors, and treatment delays.
Through case studies, Dr. Amjad Mahboob highlighted the importance of early detection and timely intervention to improve patient survival.
Dr. Amjad also stressed the need for effective communication among healthcare workers, better use of diagnostic tools, and continuous professional development. His session emphasized how collaboration and proactive measures can enhance patient safety and healthcare quality.
CPC concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which Dr. Amjad Mahboob, addressed the participants’ queries and was involved in a healthy discussion.
