An awareness session was organized in the GKMC-MTI auditorium with the collaboration of “Pakistan Endocrine Society” Member of Board of Governors Dr. Arshad Hussain, Dean and Chief Executive Gaju Khan Medical College Prof. Dr. Shams-ur-Rehman, Medical Director BKMC Dr. Shahid Nisar, and other specialist doctors participated in the workshop.

Experts said that the Diabetes Awareness Session aimed to raise awareness among diabetics that they should take special care of their sugar level and diet in daily life and especially during Ramadan, To avoid overeating in Ramadan, the Pakistan Endocrine Society has also published a booklet in this regard with the help of which diabetics can adjust their diet during the days of Ramadan.
“Pakistan Endocrine Society” are trying to control diabetes, in this regard, they are organizing Awareness sessions in different districts of the province
