Swabi: A meeting regarding the tasks assigned by the Board of Governors (BOG) of GKMC/BKMC-MTI, Swabi, was held under the chairmanship of Dean/CEO Prof. Dr. Shams-Ur-Rehman in the college’s Conference Room.
The following agenda points were discussed in detail which is
- Rationalization of Sanctioned Positions in Light of Current Requirements.
- Strengthening health services deliveries in BKMC and THQ Hospitals.
- Health Department Letter Regarding Details of Civil Servants working in MTI-Swabi.
The meeting was attended by the Medical Director, Hospital Director, Director Finance, Nursing Director, Manager HR, and AHDs from THQ Topi and THQ Chota Lahor.
The Dean commended the efforts and services being provided in both THQs and stressed the need to further improve healthcare services in BKMC and both THQs. It was decided that key recruitments would be made in all those departments as required in both THQs.
The Dean conveyed the message to the forum that the BOG has expressed its concern and commitment to improving THQs to provide the best possible healthcare facilities over there.
In response to the recent letter received from the Health Department, the Medical Director provided complete details of civil servants, including Medical Officers, Consultants, Registrars, and Senior Registrars, along with other relevant personnel, for further discussion.
During the meeting, it was decided that a detailed rationalization of sanctioned positions in light of current requirements would be followed in the best public interest.
The Hospital Director briefed the forum on the handing/taking over process of the newly established Operation Rooms, stating that plans are underway to utilize the new ORs in the coming days. Some necessary work, such as equipment installation and HR recruitment, is currently in progress.
The chair directed that no Package duties would be allowed and emphasized the strict implementation of biometric attendance without any exceptions.
