Swabi: The 8th Clinical Executive Board (CEB) meeting of BKMC-MTI, Swabi, was held in the Hospital Committee Room under the chairmanship of the Medical Director, Dr. Shahid Nisar Khalid. The meeting focused on key issues aimed at improving clinical outcomes and hospital operations.

The Hospital Director, Director Nursing, and all HoDs attended the meeting and provided their input on the agenda items.

The meeting emphasized the timely submission of clinical data for review by the Clinical Audit Committee, along with the implementation of strict waste segregation protocols to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. The chairman highlighted the importance of evening rounds by on-call consultants in both the Emergency Room (ER) and wards to ensure proper patient care and supervision, making it a mandatory routine for all on-call consultants moving forward.

In addition, Dr. Amjad Mahboob, Chairman Department of Medicine, proposed a two-day training workshop on waste segregation and management. The chair welcomed this initiative and planned further discussions on its implementation.
