Swabi: The Administration of MTI Swabi has released data regarding the facilities provided to patients during the Eid-Ul-Adha holidays. According to the report, a total of 6,111 patients were treated in Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC-MTI), Tehsil Hospital Topi, and Chota Lahor Hospital during the Eid holidays. Among them, 3,848 patients were treated at BKMC-MTI, 697 at THQ Chota Lahore, and 566 at THQ Topi Emergency.
The report shows that there were 549 cases related to Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs), with the majority involving motorcycle and rickshaw accidents. Additionally, over 400 different types of minor surgeries were performed in all three hospitals from June 28th to July 2nd, 2023.
During the Eid holidays, a total of 155 babies were born, including 127 at BKMC-MTI, 2 at Chota Lahore, and 26 at Topi Hospital. The hospitals provided 24-hour laboratory testing facilities, conducting over 6,000 different types of tests. They also performed 620 X-rays, 423 ECGs, and 94 CT scans during the same period.
The report mentioned that there were 74 dog bite cases reported, with 60 at BKMC-MTI, 10 at Topi, and 4 at Chota Lahore Hospital.
The hospitals continued to provide free treatment to the public under the Sehat Sahulat Program (SSP), with more than 150 patients admitted under SSP. The Dialysis unit remained open 24 hours, performing a total of 100 dialysis procedures, Spokesperson Added.
The Management of MTIs Swabi praised all the doctors, nurses, paramedics, and administrative officers who performed their duties well during the Eid holidays.
