4th Clinical Executive Board Meeting of BKMC-MTI

Swabi: The 4th clinical executive board meeting (CEB) chaired by Medical Director Dr. Shahid Nisar Khalid was held in the conference room of GKMC-MTI. The agenda was “Hospital and Patient-Related Issues”.

The Dean/CEO of GKMC, The hospital Director Dr. Amjad Mahboob and all heads of the department attended the meeting.

The MD briefed the participants about the agenda points and invited the members to share their inputs/suggestions to improve patient care and resolved patients related issues in their respective units.

The meeting discussed various issues about Hospital and Patient-Related and took multiple decisions.

The dean emphasized in the meeting that all allied hospitals should have participated in the CBC meeting.

The hospital director briefed the board about prefabricated clinics and newly under construction OT and informed the forum that separate OT will be operational soon for “Acute Surgical Surgeries”

HD again directed all HoDs to provide Morbidity and Mortality data.

Chairman ECB emphasized all HoDs to pay visits to allied hospital THQ Topi and THQ Chota Lahor to organize their respective departments over there.

It was decided in the meeting that all the new Trainee Registrar (TR) and Medical Officer (MO) will do IBP within the hospital as per MTI rules and BOG direction.

No TR and MO are allowed to practice outside.

The MD again directed the in-charges to ensure the attendance of their subordinate staff at their duty stations and in IBP as well.

The MD appreciated the cooperation of HODs for playing their role in delivering standard health care services.

The meeting discussed other matters involving the respective units and took various decisions.
