Swabi: The 3rd Research Workshop for the Trainee Medical Officers (TMOs) of GKMC/BKMC-MTI took place in the Community Medicine Department. Faculty members from various departments attended this research workshop. It has been decided that all future research workshops for TMOs will be conducted in the Community Medicine Department.

All the TMOs are welcome to participate, regardless of their department. However, interested TMOs must inform the concerned department in advance about their participation. This workshop will be held every second Thursday.

The initiative of this research workshop was directed by Dean/CEO GKMC-MTI Prof. Dr. Shams-Ur-Rehman, with the aim of enhancing the research skills of all faculty members with modern research techniques.

The idea was proposed by Dr. Tufail Mohammad, a respected BOG member, to train all TMOs for this purpose. Consequently, a Research Cell has been established, and now all faculty members are receiving training under the guidance of Associate Dean Research, Dr. M. Sajjad.
