Swabi: The 14th Hospital Executive Committee (HEC) meeting was held under the chairmanship of HD BKMC-MTI, Dr. Khalid Masud. The meeting was attended by all Heads of Departments (HODs), Managers, Nursing Director, Director Finance, Focal Person for SCP, and AHDs of the allied teaching hospitals MTI-Topi and THQ Chota Lahor.

The agendas and tasks from the previous HEC meeting were thoroughly reviewed, with follow-ups on the assigned tasks. Each concerned HOD provided updates on their respective assignments.

A detailed discussion was held on the shortage of Surgical ER beds, and the Hospital Director instructed the Bed Management Officer to coordinate with Director Emergency to resolve the issue.

Security concerns, particularly regarding the CCTV Cameras, were also addressed, and the Hospital Director tasked the MIS department with strengthening monitoring efforts and installing necessary CCTV cameras.

The interdepartmental communication via intercom systems was also discussed, with the MIS department being assigned the task of presenting a comprehensive plan for the intercommunication system.

The meeting also addressed Blood Bank issues at THQ Topi, and In-Charge Lab was instructed to establish a proper mechanism and visit THQ Topi to ensure the establishment of a functional Blood Bank.

The Hospital Director praised the administrative officers for their additional tasks as Duty Managers, noting the positive feedback received regarding their performance.

Facility issues, CSSD concerns, OPD challenges, and matters related to bio-medical equipment and medical gas supplies were also discussed, and decisions were made accordingly.
