Swabi: The nursing role is of utmost importance in Medical Care, as a trained and well-qualified nurse serves as the backbone of any health institution. To enhance capacity building and educate the Nursing Cadre, a workshop named “Preceptor Role” was organized in the BKMC-MTI Auditorium.
The workshop was organized by “The Quaid-e-Azam School of Nursing Swabi” for Senior Staff Nurses, Team Leaders, and In-Charge Nurses, focusing on their pivotal role in guiding senior nursing students for advanced clinical practices and serving as mentors and team leaders for newly enrolled nursing students.
Staff nurses from various departments of BKMC-MTI actively participated in the workshop, and they highly appreciated the efforts put into organizing it.
Additionally, the workshop was open to 4th-year students from affiliated nursing colleges who will soon proceed to the clinical side of their training.
During the workshop, Mr. Mehran Khan, the Nursing Director, delivered a comprehensive speech focusing on nursing roles, essential skills, and effective learning approaches. His insights were invaluable to all attendees, fostering a positive learning environment.
During the “Preceptor Role” workshop, speakers from affiliated nursing colleges illuminated the essence of the nursing profession and emphasized the significance of the preceptor role in guiding and mentoring junior nursing students.

At the end of the workshop event, appreciation certificates were distributed among all the participants to acknowledge their valuable contributions and active participation.
