Swabi: An interactive Faculty Development Workshop on the topic “How to Give an Interactive Lecture Using PowerPoint” was organized and conducted in the College conference room by the Department of Medical Education at GKMC-MTI.

The workshop was led by two facilitators: Professor Dr. Ishtiaq Ali Khan and HoD DME, Dr. Sana Khan.

The event commenced with an orientation led by Dr. Sana Khan, HoD DME, who delivered an outstanding and informative presentation, which was followed by a question-and-answer session with the participants.

Subsequently, Prof. Dr. Ishtiaq Ali Khan delivered a comprehensive lecture on the subject. His lecture provided valuable insights and strategies for conducting interactive lectures using PowerPoint effectively.

All the faculty members from GKMC-MTI actively participated in this training workshop. The participants found the workshop to be highly beneficial for their professional development, as it equipped them with the skills and knowledge required to create engaging and interactive lectures using PowerPoint.

To enhance the practical understanding of the workshop content, the participants were divided into small groups for hands-on activities. Each group was tasked with preparing and delivering a brief presentation, and they received immediate feedback to improve their presentation skills.

The workshop concluded with a closing ceremony, during which certificates of participation were distributed. Associate Dean, Professor Dr. Mukhtiar, had the honor of presenting these certificates to the participants, acknowledging their dedication and commitment to professional development.
