Orientation session held for 80 newly inductees “House Officer” at BKMC-MTI

Swabi: 80 newly inducted House Officers orientation sessions held at Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC-MTI). Dean/CEO Prof. Dr. Shams-Ur-Rehman and Hospital Director Dr. Amjad Mehboob grace the event with their presence.

An introductory program for 80 House Officers was held at Bacha Khan Medical Complex on July 4, 2022 at Auditorium hall.

Dean/CEO Prof. Dr. Shams-Ur-Rehman was the chief guest on the occasion. The Hospital Director Dr. Amjad Mehboob, Assistant Manager IT, Assistant Manager Quality Assurance, and Member of the Human Resource department participated in the orientation session.

In the session, Dean/CEO Prof. Dr. Shams-Ur-Rehman said that although you are no more students of this college still your learning process begins now. Dean added that we are proud that the first badge of GKMC-MTI bagged a hundred percent result in KMU Annual exams, now it’s time to work practically for better health care for the patient. Dean urged that all the 80 inductees will be placed in different Units to perform their duties.

Keeping in view the vital role of the House Job Officer, the Hospital Director BKMC-MTI Dr. Amjad Mehboob gave a comprehensive brief about “professional behaviors and ethics in the workplace” he emphasized the new inductees to follow the rules, norms, and work under the vision, mission and core values of BKMC-MTI. Now it’s time to link your previous theoretical knowledge and clinical skills with newer and better clinically oriented knowledge. This is the new beginning of your career you have to handle all the patients equally and learn new things, He Added.

The session was also attended by the Assistant Manager IT, Assistant manager quality assurance, and Human Resource representative, they briefly presented their department. The inductees also raised some questions which is answered by their concerns.

According to the spokesperson total of 80 House Officers are inducted out of them 50 are male and 30 are female. The management and administration accommodated all the inductees and their place of duty will be decided in a meeting soon. GKMC-MTI was the first college in the province who secure hundred percent results in the 2021 KMU annual results.
