Swabi: The BKMC-MTI Swabi Administration has released a report based on the facilities provided to the public during the Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 holidays in the three teaching hospitals. According to the report, a total of 4,710 patients were treated during the Eid holidays in BKMC-MTI, THQ Topi, and THQ Chota Lahore. 3,607 patients were brought to BKMC-MTI, 628 patients to THQ Chota Lahore, and 475 patients were brought to THQ Topi Emergency.
During the Eid holidays from April 10 to April 12, a total of 153 babies were born: 137 in BKMC-MTI, 01 in Chota Lahore, and 15 in Topi Hospital. Similarly, the provision of 24-hour laboratory test facilities continued in these hospitals. More than 5,775 different types of tests were conducted in the three hospitals. Likewise, X-ray, ECG, laboratory, operation theater, and ICU services also continued uninterrupted for the patients. During the Eid holidays, 266 patients were admitted to different wards, while 275 cases were handled in Minor OT.
The hospital continued to provide free treatment to the public under the Sehat Sahulat Program (SSP). 170 patients were admitted to the hospital under SSP. Similarly, the Dialysis unit remained open 92 dialysis procedures were performed. The spokesperson added that the hospital director appraised all the doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other administrative officers who performed their duties well during the Eid holidays.
The hospital administration had set up a comprehensive plan to provide timely health facilities to the people during the Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 holidays. Under the plan, the presence of doctors, nurses, paramedics, and all necessary staff was ensured in the three hospitals so that the people could receive the best treatment facilities 24 hours a day.
