Swabi: The 16th Hospital Executive Committee (HEC) meeting was held on January 16, 2025, under the chairmanship of Dr. Khalid Masud, Hospital Director BKMC-MTI, Swabi. All Heads of Departments (HoDs), managers, officers, the focal person for SCP, and AHDs from the allied teaching hospitals attended the meeting.

The meeting began with a review of the agenda and tasks from the previous session. Each HoD provided updates on their respective assignments. Discussions were held regarding the Sehat Card Plus (SCP) program in THQ Topi and THQ Lahor. The chair welcomed suggestions and input from all HoDs about the way forward for SCP.

The HoDs were also asked for recommendations on strengthening the IBP plan during the evening shift to ensure the provision of quality healthcare services.

All managers provided updates regarding their respective tasks. The chair emphasized the need to work further on strengthening the Emergency Department and also directed attention to THQs.

The HD stressed that absences without proper approval would not be acceptable and directed AHDs and all HoDs to ensure proper departmental attendance and leave management.

The HR Manager and their team presented their physical verification report for both THQs, which the chair found unsatisfactory. The HD directed the HR Manager to conduct a similar physical verification of BKMC within one week and submit the report.

The chair decided that all media content with necessary detail/text must first be shared with the Media Officer. The Media Officer will then disseminate it in groups, on social media, and for print media publication after the HD approval.

Website updates and upgrades were discussed, and tasks were assigned to the MIS team and Media Officer. The chair also instructed the Security in charge and Media Officer to coordinate with Rescue 1122 to organize a mock drill and training exercise for BKMC staff.

Plans for the smooth transition of Operating Theaters (OTs) to the new operation rooms were discussed, with a timeline set for February 2025.
