Three Days Basic Life Support training concluded at GKMC-MTI,

Swabi: In accordance with the guidelines of the American Heart Association, a three-day Basic Life Support (BLS) training program was conducted at BKMC-MTI, organized by the Anesthesia Department. The Anesthesia Department initiated this program, with the specific aim of training the final-year student batch, which consists of twelve students, in Basic Life Support techniques and familiarizing them with Advanced Life Care support.

This BLS training received praise from the Dean/CEO of GKMC/BKMC-MTI, Prof. Dr. Shams-Ur-Rehman. He not only encouraged students and staff to actively participate in such activities but also commended the efforts of the anesthesia team, led by Dr. Amina Tariq, Head of the Anesthesia Department, along with AP Dr. Kashmala Javaid and Dr. Balaj Khan, for the successful execution of this training session.

This training initiative is crucial for ensuring that every employee within the health institute is well-prepared in BLS techniques. Soon, BLS training will be organized for all staff members.”
