Our Nurses, Our Future

International Nurses Day 2023 Celebrated at BKMC-MTI, 17th May 2023

Swabi: The nursing department of Bacha Khan Medical Complex and Swabi College of Nursing & Health Sciences jointly organized and celebrated International Nursing Day with great enthusiasm. The event took place on 17th May 2023 in the BKMC-MTI Auditorium, radiating enthusiasm and appreciation for the nursing profession.

A special cake-cutting ceremony was also held on this occasion. Nursing Director Mr. Mehran Khan and Head Nurses of various departments participated in the celebration.

Nursing Director said, that despite multiple challenges and risks posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, nurses have demonstrated unwavering resilience, unyielding dedication, and boundless empathy.

This year the theme for International Nurses Day is “Our Nurses Our Future” which is a global campaign that sets out what we want for nursing in the future in order to address the global health challenges and improve global health for all. We need to learn from the lessons of the pandemic and translate these into actions of the future.
