CPC on “Neonatal Respiratory Distress Syndrome” and its management

Swabi: Department of “Paeds” GKMC/BKMC-MTI arranged the Clinicopathological Conference (CPC) at the BKMC-MTI Auditorium Hall. PGR Dr. Rizwan Paediatrics BKMC-MTI presented an outstanding presentation. The topic of the CPC was “Neonatal Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS)”.

Dr. Rizwan discussed the topic in detail and spoke at length about the topic, treatment planning, procedures and its complications.

Dr. Rizwan said, RDS happens when a baby’s lungs are not fully developed and cannot provide enough oxygen, causing breathing difficulties which is usually affects premature babies.

The CPC was about the case of surfactant administrations to the preterm baby here in NICU BKMC-MTI baby was successfully managed and discharged home.

Dean/CEO GKMC/BKMC-MTI Prof. Dr. Shams-U-Rahman, Prof of Surgery Dr. Mukhtiar Ali, HoD Orthopedic Dr. Mohammad Saqib, Respectable Consultants, Faculty Members, PGs, Students, and other health professionals attended the CPC.

Later on, a questions and answers session was held about the topic, and the faculty participated in it. Dr. Rizwan answered the questions of the participant.
