6,500 patients were brought to Swabi MTIs hospitals during the EID holidays.
Swabi: Administration MTI Swabi has released a report based on the facilities provided to the public during the Eid holidays in the three teaching hospitals. According to the report, a total of 6520 patients were treated during the Eid holidays in Tehsil Hospital Topi, Chota Lahore, and Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC-MTI). During the Eid holidays, 4535 patients were brought to BKMC-MTI, 1076 patients to THQ Chota Lahor, and, 909 patients were brought to THQ Topi emergency. According to the spokesperson, 218 injured in road traffic accidents (RTAs) and other reasons were treated in the three teaching hospitals.
During the Eid holidays, a total of 153 babies were born, 122 in BKMC-MTI, 02 in Chota Lahore, and 29 in Topi Hospital. Similarly, the provision of 24-hour laboratory tests facility continued in these hospitals. More than 5,700 different types of tests were conducted in the three hospitals, similarly, X-ray, CT scan, ECG, laboratory, operation theater, and ICU services also continued uninterrupted for the patients. During the Eid holidays, 293 patients were admitted while 6 general surgeries were also performed in BKMC.
The hospital continued to provide free treatment to the public under the Sehat Sahulat Program (SSP). More than 250 patients were admitted to the hospital under SSP. Similarly, the Dialysis unit remained open for 24 hours, and a total of more than 118 dialysis procedures were done. Spokesperson Added.

BKMC-MTI and allied hospitals played a vital role in providing healthcare services to the local community during the Eid holidays, ensuring that patients received the care they needed, Spokesperson added.
The hospital administration had set up a comprehensive plan to provide timely health facilities to the people on EID holidays. Under the plan, the presence of doctors, nurses, paramedics, and all necessary staff was ensured in the three hospitals so that the people could be provided best treatment facilities 24 hours.
